Transformation of the state cultural policy of Russia in the post-Soviet period

The article deals with the changes in the perceptions of the state cultural policy of Russia in the post-Soviet period. Three stages of transformation of the state cultural policy are distinguished. Interpretations of the cultural policy existing in the Russian legal framework are analysed. The author describes the modern trends of formation of the state cultural policy and outlines the prospects for further improvement of the system and program of the state cultural policy.
