Transformation and development of Buddhist church of Buryat Republic during the post-Soviet period (1990s - the early 2000s)

The article is devoted to development of Buddhist church in Post-Soviet period. Research is prented the peculiarities of a new system of evolution of the relationship between structural parts of the Buddhist church. Detailed analysis detected the main problems that the Buddhist church was faced with in 1990-s: disagreements between members of Buddhist organizational structure, gaps in the law system, lack of qualitative personnel, contradictions in the view on reformations between different generations on the level of management. As a result the parallels was drawn between the politics of Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia and the Russian Federation government. It is concluded that Buddhist Sangha was supported by the government in response to positive arrangement developed by the leader of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia Damba Ayusheev.
