Transformation of children's cultural behavior during infodemic

The article is dedicated to the changes in children’s cultural behavior caused by introducing some taboos due to pandemic as well as infodemic. The term “infodemic” means excessive and controversial informing about coronavirus in mass-media. Among the consequences of covid-taboos and new cultural norms the author highlights decreased trust to grown-ups family members; obedience to authorities who look confident and competent; perusing the one with an “open face” as a potentially dangerous; seeing another person as a biological organism not as a personality. Besides the article shows some changes in the cultural perception of children by adults, for example, taking childhood as a danger for old age. The author shows easiness with which children accept new cultural norms and different taboos though some of them are controversial to Russian traditional cultural patterns and norms.
