The article is devoted to the actual subject of practical leadership and management efficiency in of rapidly changing socio-economical conditions. The subject of analysis is the individual work of the present managers. Author is aimed to reveal the process of transformation of the individual in the process of management to achieve his maximum productivity. The results concluded that the author explicates the essence of leadership is that the leader is able to become a leader only after passing through the certain phases of personality transformation, after which he becomes aware of itself as a complete leader. The author proposes a definition of a leader as a manager who is constantly evolving and demonstrates its development and mastery of his official competence on the basis of the world''s best management theory and practice, fulfills its mission, identifies itself and its activities led by / subordinate team, where he develops and raises the value of each employee leads him along, and it is for the leader, mentor and guide of life based on the unity of the company''s values, its own values and the values of subordinate employees. The author reveals concepts such as leaders productivity, reveals the processes of the transformation. The research results can be applied in the field of psychological assistance to senior executives of organizations.
