Transformation of the mythological image of Bukha-noyon in the works of the Buryat artists

The paper investigates the mythological image of Buha Noyon - totemic ancestor of the Buryats, which is one of the key meanings in the Buryat mythology and reproduction of this image in art and culture. It is concluded that at present the mythological image of the Buha Noyon is experiencing a new understanding, which leads to an overestimation of moral values. The mythological narrations find new life, having huge impact on development of spiritual culture of all Buryat people.
