Transformation concepts of competitiveness enterprise and its products, taking into account impact of sanctions restrictions

The introduction by Western countries of sanctions restrictions had a negative impact on the development of the Russian economy. Its consequence was a decrease in the competitiveness of domestic enterprises and their products. The sanctions restrictions created unfavorable conditions for the production activities of domestic enterprises in relation to their main foreign counterparties. The expansion of the range of sanctions restrictions in relation to certain industries and enterprises has led to a sharp change in the conditions for conducting a competitive struggle. The current situation has transformed the economic essence of the concept of competitiveness of domestic enterprises and their products. In this regard, the main goal of this study was to clarify the economic essence of the concept of competitiveness and the economic factors that form it in relation to the activities of enterprises under the conditions of sanctions restrictions. To achieve it, the methods of analysis and synthesis of economic information, as well as publications of foreign and Russian scientists on the research topic were used. The results of the study made it possible to clarify the definition of the concept of competitiveness of enterprises and their products under the conditions of sanctions restrictions.
