Transformation of the concept of ideology and its significance in political processes

The author examines the transformation of the concept of ideology, traces the change in attitudes towards it over time and changes in political ideas. The article offers the author's interpretation of the concept of ideology, and also focuses on the phenomenon of propaganda. The author considers propaganda as a communication process aimed at introducing certain ideas, perceptions and meanings of another social group into the group consciousness in order to influence the opinions, attitudes and behavior of the first social group.
