Transformation of the social and professional structure in the context of modern Russian society

Since the beginning of the century, the social and professional structure in Russia has been dynamically transformed under the influence of the global processes of modernity and reforms, and now it continues to evolve. In terms of social and cultural, economic factors, the ideas, the attitude to the value of labor, its meaning, content and conditions have been changed as well. There are the new labor supply and demand at different markets in Russia. The study deals with the changes in the labor field, the social and professional structure and the culture of the rapid pace of life in the modern society relating to them. The professional development imbalances are emphasized. The research discusses the appearance of a new class of self-employed people (precariat or free agents). The author suggests that there can be the employment competition between the Millennials (the 1980s generation) and the Centennials born and socialized after the 2000s.
