Transformation of regional development management in the economy of platforms and ecosystems: problems and solutions

The paper considers the processes of transformation of regional management in the conditions of digitalization, formation, functioning and development of platforms and ecosystems. The study describes the development of the ecosystem approach in the context of the information society and the digital economy. The structure of the regional digital ecosystem in the context of territorial management, including the core (digital platform), multi-agent regional community, architecture and standards of activity, is proposed. The principles of functioning of the regional digital ecosystem are formulated and disclosed. Identified and systematized problems of architecture, trust, information, infrastructure and management problems of implementation of regional digital ecosystems in Russia. The results of the research can be used in the development and updating of strategic program documents at the Federal, regional and municipal levels, including the concepts of implementing smart digital technologies “Smart region”, “Smart city” and “Digital region” projects.
