Transport infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan transport is one of the basic sectors of the economy, the most important part of production and social infrastructure. The system of transport communications is a condition of territorial integrity of the region, the unity of its economic space. It connects the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia with the world community, as the basis for integration of the region into the global economic system.
