Speech acts transposition as a base for language game (the case of VTB 24 bank commercial)

The article discusses the peculiarities of the language game based on speech acts transposition, considers the definition of language game and analyzes transposed speech acts and communicative conditions of their realization. The author names disadvantages of the VTB 24 Bank commercial that could violate the adequate interpretation of a language game in it and suggests some solutions to overcome these disadvantages. The author also reveals both linguistic and extra linguistic factors that may serve as the basis for language game. Thus, the analyzed type of a language game can be based on either semantic and structural text features or the common communicants’ presupposition.
