Migration of the special field terms into mediation. Expedient use of the terminological borrowings

This article discusses the reasons for using terms from other special field terminologies in mediation and the effect that these borrowings have on the integrity and consistency of the mediation terminology. The aim of the work is to determine the main causes of migration of the terms, to identify functional groups of the terminological borrowings and establish the terms of the expedient use of these units in mediation. Data-processing work included such analyzes as stratification of the semantic structure of the terms, definitional analysis, modeling of the conceptual networks and quantification. In addition, the development of conditions to justify the use of terminological borrowings involved data obtained from the survey of experts in the field of mediation. As a result, three groups of terminological borrowings were identified and the terms for the expedient use of the borrowed terminological units in mediation were suggested.
