Requirements for the investigator's procedural decisions

All the activities of the persons in whose proceedings the criminal case is, in order to achieve the purpose of criminal proceedings, are accompanied by the adoption of decisions and their execution. During the pre-trial proceedings, the investigator also makes a significant number of different procedural decisions. Compliance with the requirements for procedural decisions of the investigator ensures effective protection of the rights and legitimate interests of participants in criminal proceedings, at the same time their content is debatable. The article reveals the mechanism of decision-making by the investigator and such requirements as legality, validity and motivation of procedural decisions.
