The requirements and principles of accounting reporting established by the legislation are important for compliance, as they ensure the reliability of the reporting. Compliance with the requirements established in regulatory documents allows for fair presentation of information in the financial statements. The degree of accuracy of accounting data affects the conclusions and decisions made. The article provides a list of evaluation indicators, the quality of accounting statements of state institutions, their characteristics, and a comparative description of the Russian principles with the principles of IFRS.
