Training in the system of higher professional education

The article analyzes the competence approach in professional training. The concepts of competence and training are clarified. The article reveals the essence and content of the training as a training technology aimed at developing professional and personal qualities, abilities of students, and forming their professional competence. The authors attempt to systematize the forms, methods and principles of training sessions, as well as answer two main questions: what specific features are inherent in training sessions and how they can be used in the educational process.
