The article under review is devoted to the problem of professional teachers' health preservation and strengthening. The author of the article focuses on causes, peculiarities and display of the anxiety process in professional activity of teachers. In the following article the structure of anxiety phenomenon as a factor of teachers' psychological disadap-tation is analyzed. The topical issue of psychological prophylaxis of heightened anxiety in professional activity of teachers is underlined.
