Tribunal justice in the first years of Soviet power (1917-1922)

Introduction: the aim of the research was to study the history of the establishment of tribunal justice (1917-1922). The theme of research is relevant, it is important to take into account the historical experience of the past years in the process of creation of the judicial system in modern Russia, as many imperfections in this sphere have their roots in the period of revolution and civil war, help to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past years. Materials and methods: general scientific methods (analysis, observation, generalization, comparison, description) and special methods of legal science, including historical-legal and formal-legal, were used in the preparation of the article. The Results of the study: allowed to reveal the process of formation and development of the tribunal justice, give an idea of the history of the creation and activity of the revolutionary law in Soviet Russia. Findings and Conclusions: the legal framework related to the functioning of tribunal justice in Soviet Russia was studied, the relationship between revolutionary tribunals and the authorities was analysed, and the main activities of the revolutionary tribunals were examined.
