Labour as an indicator of changes in modern nomadic society of Mongolia

The article is a preliminary report on the topic of social changes in the household practices of modern nomads in Mongolia. The author believes that labor, as an important social institution, acts as a significant indicator of the modernization changes in the nomadic society. It is shown that the external form of household practices remains unchanged, while the content of certain types of labor activity undergoes significant transformations.
