Difficulties of semantization of preventive medicine terminology

This article suggests a solution to the problem of creating normative dictionaries of preventive medicine terms. This requires an in-depth study of the phenomena of polysemy and especially polysemy in the definition of specific terms. Variety in this part of the linguistic field can result both from natural processes of scientific language development and from superficial or even erroneous iudgments. Dictionaries are infiltrated by definitions of terms that do not correspond to the complexity of the objects being defined and that do not reflect essential aspects of the concepts being presented. A comparative analysis of dictionary entries and the contexts of their use in scientific publications allows us to remedy errors in the semantization of terms.
