Today migration processes play an important role in shaping the growth of Russia's population and providing the country with labor resources. In 2020 there was a significant decrease in the migration inflow of the population, in particular in the framework of labor migration. In turn, in 2020 the need of organizations for workers in various spheres increased significantly, to a greater extent in those in which migrants are most often employed (in construction - 2.5 times, in trade - 2 times). Meanwhile, the need for foreign workers determined by the Government of the Russian Federation also decreased, which indicates a certain contradiction between the indicators.
