Russian Revolution, this neo-populist party, small in terms of the number of members, played a significant role both in the first two Dumas and in the inter-revolutionary period of the so-called reaction, when, deprived of the opportunity to speak openly in the political arena, it switched its activity to journalism. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time scientific attention is focused on the Labor People's Socialist Party and its leading figures in the context of the main events of the country's democratic reform. The nature of participation and the role of the Labor People's Socialist Party in the processes of the Great Russian Revolution (1917) are considered. The course and results of the election campaigns of 1917 (to local self-government bodies and the All-Russian Constituent Assembly) with the participation of the Labor People's Socialist Party are characterized. An assessment of the activities of representatives of the People's Socialists and Trudoviks in the organs of revolutionary power is given, their main undertakings are analyzed. Reflected are internal party processes, as well as relationships with other democratic organizations at this stage of the revolution. The attitude of the TNSP to the seizure of power by the Bolsheviks and the further political fate of the party are shown. It is concluded that, although the TNSP was inferior to the largest Russian parties in terms of the number of participants and supporters, it gained sufficient prestige in public circles, and its contribution to the establishment of a democratic state (which, unfortunately, was lost at this stage) can be assessed as very significant.
