Tundra communities of the Govena peninsula (Koryak region, Kamchatka krai)

The geobotanical characteristic of the coastal and mountain tundra communities of the Govena peninsula on the territory of the Koryaksky State Natural Reserve (North of the Koryak region) and adjacent area is presented. The dominantdeterminant classification of tundra vegetation based on 40 relevés has been elaborated. As the result 13 associations, 8 formations and 3 classes of formations were revealed. The synopsis of the associations and the diagnostic tables of the syntaxa are presented. The peculiarities of the floristic composition, patterns of community structure, ecological and altitudinal distribution of tundra communities are characterized.
