Tourist complex in the condition of state regulation: problems and prospects of development (on the materials of sociological research in Krasnodar region)

Krasnodar region is one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia. Its unique natural and climatic conditions and resources, numerous nature reserves, traditions and rich historical and cultural heritage create great potential for the development of a tourist and recreational complex, which has a network of various enterprises specialising in various types of recreation. The paper contains the results of a sociological study conducted with the help of an expert survey within the framework of assessing the state and prospects for the development of the tourist complex of Krasnodar region in the context of the implementation of national projects. The authors identify a number of factors that hinder the effective development of the tourism industry in Krasnodar region. Despite the problems identified in the course of the sociological study, the authors propose ways to solve them and outline further steps to improve the tourism sector in Krasnodar region. In light of the successful implementation of national programs, the authors of the work predict an increase in the number of objects of the tourist complex, the infusion of additional investments, and in this regard, an increase in the revenues of the budget and in the competitiveness of the region, the creation of new additional jobs and an increase in the well-being of the rural population, a decrease in costs from the resort tourist organisations, reconstruction of the internal infrastructure of rural settlements.
