Soil hardness and yield of spring barley against the background of basic processing and mineral fertilizers

The article presents the results of changes in soil hardness of ordinary Chernozem and yield of spring barley depending on the system of soil cultivation in crop rotation. During the growing season of the crop, soil hardness in all variants of soil treatment (except surface treatment) varied in the range of indicators not exceeding critical values for the growth and development of spring barley. Surface treatment in the earing phase in a layer of 0-25 cm hardness was 31.1 kg / cm2. Close values of hardness indicators (28.3 kg / cm2) in this phase of culture development were noted in the variant with zero treatment, which may have caused a decrease in its yield.
