Creative activity of the polish exiles in Transbaikalia

The article considers the issues of the creative activity of the Polish exile participants of the uprising of 1863-1864 during their way under the special convoy and doing hard labor on the territory of the Transbaikal region. The author uses a wide range of historical sources to reconstruct the main directions of the creative activity. Music, painting and drawing, theatrical performances, various forms of educational activity were the most common forms of creative activity of the exiles in the period under consideration.
