Creative interpretation of Mordva mythology in ethno-futurism

Mythological theme in the decorative art of the Republic of Mordovia is analysed. A conclusion on the interfusion and transportability of the notions of «the ethic» and «the mythological» is made. The essence of this phenomenon in the historical inversion characteristic of ethno-futurism is brought to light.
