Creative project B. A. Smirnov on the creation of a trademark for the Leningrad Art Glass Factory

Soviet glass as an independent artistic phenomenon declared itself in the late 1930s. On the basis of the Demino Mirror Factory in Leningrad, in 1940, research laboratories and an experimental workshop were established to work in the field of art glass. In 1948, the workshop was transformed into the Leningrad Art Glass Factory (Resolution No. 25 of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 8, 1948). In 1962, the brand name of the production was officially registered, which accompanied LAGF products in unchanged form until the final liquidation of production in 1997. This article aims to introduce into scientific circulation the fact that the artist B. A. Smirnov to the development of the brand name of the Leningrad Art Glass Factory.
