Creativity of a foreign author of English literature of the twentieth century

This article discusses the stages of development of world literature. The article also provides information on the development of economic and cultural ties between the peoples of the world, the growing interdependence of the literature of remote regions, the growing artistic influence and the rise of the quality and content of world culture to a new level. The opinions of scholars on the stages of development of world literature are also given. The change of time was fully realized in the literary process, and the well-known German poet Goethe expressed his positive opinion on the subject for the first time using the term "world literature." The concept of “world literature” formed in the 19th century, the principle of understanding it, later united all national and regional literatures.
