The murder of a newborn child by a mother: some issues of qualification and sentencing

The article examines the issues of sentencing for the murder of a newborn child by a mother in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the relationship between the assigned punishment and the qualification of the murder and the mother's condition during or immediately after childbirth, and the issues of determining the proportionality of the assigned punishment to the social danger of the crime committed.
