Participation of bureau of the international youth travel of the USSR “Sputnik” in social and political life of lower Volga area of 1965-1985

The article discusses the history of the Bureau of international youth tourism “Sputnik”. The functioning of the new tourist Agency is viewed through the prism of ideological and commercial relations of its constituent activities. Organizational and technical aspects ofthe work of the Bureau of international youth tourism are revealed through the mechanism of tourist exchanges.
