Participation of the Constitutional Court in the protection of national interests

The article highlights some ways of protecting national interests em-bodied in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated December 31, 2015 № 683 «On the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation» by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the the Cconstitutional Court of the Russian Federation practice the «fidelity» of the body of the constitutional control to the supremacy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the whole territory of the Russian Federation is particularly noted. It is also noted that it is impossible to incorporate provisions of international treaties and execution of court decisions of the interstate bodies on human rights protection in case of their contradictions with Constitution of the Russian Federation being the basic legal defense of the national interests.
