Participation of local authorities and population in the financing of infrastructure projects

The article is devoted to the consideration of the issues of financing infrastructure projects with the participation of local authorities and the population. The form of such participation is initiative budgeting, when the population of a municipality participates in the selection of objects of co-financing and implementation of projects along with local authorities, and in monitoring of the construction or reconstruction of the project site, signs a corresponding act of acceptance and transfer.
