On the participation of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings

This article analyzes various points of view on the current state of Affairs in the sphere of powers of the Prosecutor at the stage of initiation of a criminal case, justifies the author’s position on the issue under consideration. It is proved that the return of the Prosecutor’s powers to initiate a criminal case does not meet the modern realities of criminal proceedings and the functions of the Supervisory authority.
