Participation in ideas in the light of art practice

The relationships between ideas and things are considered in this article from the perspective of participation in ideas. Aspiration to ideas is peculiar to things, because the latter are emanations of the first. This aspiration is carried out through art; for this reason the man is a main maker, operator here. Participation in ideas is one of the main activities in the material world; art is understood as a practice of participating in ideas. The thing becomes a symbol for art, i.e. a manifestation of one (idea) in the other (matter) and their unity. The symbol opens the door to the realm of ideas; it gives the opportunity to participate in ideas through making or picturing things. So the man is included in the intelligent realm of ideas that brings him closer to the All.
