Educational activity of students of humanitarian universities as professionally-oriented to related major on life safety

This article discusses and justifies the possibility and practicability of the acquisition of the knowledge on the related major by students of humanitarian universities on the basis of their studying of the subject «life safety». The self-assessment of the readiness of the students-respondents to behave adequately in extreme situations and their attitude to the mastering of the related majors on «Life safety» are examined on the basis of the questionnaire survey
