The strategic development of the system of the vocational educational institutions is advisable to realize taking into account the formation of the teaching system with the usage of practice-oriented technologies. It is proposed to use the ‘Learning firm' technology as an instrument contributing to the formation of the VET students' professional competencies taking into account the labour market and potential employers needs.
