Educational and methodological literature n the sphere of secondary vocational education in the Soviet period (1930-1965)

The article presents an analysis of the varieties of educational and methodological literature on the issues of secondary vocational education from 1930 to 1965, published in the USSR and stored in the Russian State Library. The release of pedagogical literature is systematized according to the stages of development of the system of secondary vocational education 1930-1941, 1942-1948, 1949-1958, 1959-1965. The number (in %) of printed publications was calculated for the main types of literature - textbooks, lecture texts, teaching aids, guidelines for teachers and students, discipline programs, methodological materials, etc. for each of the identified stages. The conducted research can be used for further historical and pedagogical reconstruction of the development of the system of secondary vocational education.
