The article examines the applied issues of teaching children with intellectual disabilities. It analyses nine strategies developed by a researcher at Minnesota University, which include teaching methods appropriate and effective for use with disabled children. The strategies are adapted to different levels of children’s development, which expands the possibilities of their practical application.
