The student movement in St. Petersburg (1890-1917): the formation and development of student organizations (part 1)

Among students of classical schools of the late XIX - early XX century liberal and materialistic views on technological progress and social structure are becoming more widespread. On the example of the history of men's gymnasiums of pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg the author reveals the features of natural gymnasium movements in Russia, the creation of students ' organizations in the pre-revolutionary period.
