From the standpoint of the importance of accumulating information about the behavior of the accused in a criminal case and their personal characteristics in court proceedings, the article substantiates the thesis about the practicality of introducing a new procedural document - the behavioral profile of the accused in order to ensure the proper maintenance of the public prosecution and the rights of the individual. The article analyzes how this profile and its manifestations are to be considered by the public prosecutor in a criminal case, both at the preparatory phase and in the course of the trial. The factors reducing the efficiency of the use of the data characterizing the personality of the defendant, as well as their behavior, when maintaining the prosecution in court, are highlighted. Recommendations are given on the tactics and methods of presenting the prosecution's case in court, taking into account the defendant's personal data categorization.
