This article highlights the development trends of the viticulture industry, its place in agriculture, the role in ensuring food safety in the country and the peculiarities of cost accounting in the viticulture industry. As a result of research to improve cost accounting and reduce the cost of production, proposals and recommendations have been formulated to improve the efficiency of the viticulture industry.
