Currently, occupational risk indicators which depend on the impact of harmful and dangerous industrial factors on workers are used to assess working conditions. Considering that harmful factors are quite common in the workplace, this article examines the impact of these factors on the occupational risk index. Since harmful factors are taken into account by the class of working conditions (CU), the occupational risk indicator will depend on CU, taking into account the degree of harmfulness. To determine it, the authors of the article applied the well-known Weber–Fechner law, which takes into account the relationship between the intensity of the stimulus and the intensity of sensa-tion. For this purpose, the classes of working conditions, taking into account the degree of harmfulness, were marked with appropriate points, which made it possible to determine the indicator of occupational risk of employees, taking into account harmful production factors. The authors obtained an expression for calculating the occupational risk indicator, which is used to construct a graph showing that the dependence of the occupational risk indicator on the class of working conditions is logarithmic. This indicator is necessary for further identification of occupational risk categories of em-ployees, which will also depend on the presence of hazardous production factors in the workplace.
