This article examines the theoretical and empirical evidence of exploring the students’ adaptability to study in the pedagogical university on implementing the system-activity approach. Integral adaptation index is the satisfaction of students with the learning process. The article provides the results of empirical research held on the basis of Geographical Department of Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University.
