Deepening economic integration and development of trade relations between the countries of the commonwealth of independent states: the legal policy of the Russian Federation during the presidency of the CIS

The subject of this study is the analysis of the legal policy of the Russian Federation aimed at deepening economic integration and developing trade relations between the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States during its presidency in the CIS in 2024. The economic integration of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States largely depends on Russia as a key partner in trade, investment and energy. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the desire of the participating countries to strengthen multilateral cooperation within the CIS contributes to strengthening the role of this regional organization in the international arena.
