Criminal liability for theft under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: problems of legislative and law enforcement practice

The article considers the current problem of qualifying theft and sanctions for this crime, provided for by the corresponding article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Attention was also paid to the problem of recurrence of thefts, copyright proposals were made to adjust criminal liability for thefts. When preparing the article, the current legal statistics were analyzed, the main criminological indicators of the corresponding type of crime were taken into account, national scientific and special methods of scientific research were involved.
