Criminal responsibility for dissemination in the network "Internet" information gambling

Purpose: Present the evidence base to establish criminal liability for the dissemination of information, aimed at carrying out gambling. Methodology: The autor used the historical-legal, formally legal and criminal cases analysis methods Results: The article analyzes the legislation since the adoption of the Federal Law № 244-FZ of 29.12.2006. The autor is conducting a study of criminal cases in the period from 2013 to 2016 about the crimes - illegal gambling, committed by the «Internet». It assessed the most common method of committing illegal gambling. And also provides methods and recommendations that will help to counteract these crimes, including the introduction of criminal liability for the dissemination of information, aimed at carrying out gambling. Novelty/originality/value: The paper has a high scientific value, because in the article discusses need for recognition of criminal offense - the dissemination of information to gambling through the «Internet».
