The criminal statistics of the offences committed by public officials in the area of the administration of justice

The article dwells on modern statistics of the malfeasance (offences committed by public officials) against justice in the Russian Federation. According to the analysis of the data of criminal statistics the article concludes that the majority of the listed crimes are committed by the internal affairs officers. Furthermore, law enforcement officials most frequently commit the mentioned crimes for the purpose of making money and enjoying benefits during the investigation of a crime or for the purpose of the necessity of the falsification of different evidence concerning the case so that they wouldn’t be charged with omission or incompetence. The high level of the corruption in country contributes to the malfeasance against justice. The mentioned crimes are highly latent and very difficult to solve.
