Criminal-legal measures to combat sabotage activities: critical analysis of legislation

In this article, the authors examine certain issues of legislative regulation of criminal liability for offences related to sabotage activities, emphasizing the danger of sabotage crimes directly affecting state security. The object of the study is public relations in the field of ensuring economic security and defense capability of the state. The research methodology includes a universal dialectical method, general scientific and private scientific methods, including formal logical, formal legal, analytical, sociological, comparative legal, and legal modeling methods, the use of tools of theoretical generalization. Based on the conducted analysis, the authors have articulated well-substantiated conclusions regarding the necessity for further systematic optimization of criminal legislation concerning responsibility for sabotage-related offenses. Furthermore, several proposals have been put forth concerning the enhancement of criminal-legal measures aimed at counteracting sabotage and other related criminal activities.
