In the article the author considers theoretical issues concerning the guarantee of ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of individuals who have suffered from crimes. The essence of guarantees for the protection of rights is indicated. The essence of judicial control and prosecutor's supervision is disclosed. The necessity of granting an additional volume of rights to an individual is justified.
