Criminal legislation of Azerbaijan, Belarus and Tajikistan on combating theft and extortion of narcotic drugs

The article considers the experience of criminal law counteraction to theft and extortion of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in Azerbaijan, Belarus and Tajikistan. The author analyzes the methods of constructing criminal law norms, legislative approaches to the description of the concept and signs of theft and extortion of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as differentiation of criminal liability for these crimes. Based on the analysis, the author formulates some proposals to improve domestic criminal legislation on countering theft and extortion of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.
